Giving in the U.S. and High Net Worth Philanthropy
08:00 am - 10:30am
Presented by
This program, offered just days following the national release of GivingUSA covering giving trends and statistics for giving in the U.S. in 2011, blends GivingUSA with two landmark High Net Worth Philanthropy studies commissioned by Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Presented in Kansas City by Dr. Patrick Rooney, Executive Director of the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University and chief researcher for all three national studies, will add insight to your fundraising information on:
- How affluent households respond in their giving to changes in the economy
- What High Net Worth donors expect--and will demand--from the charities they give to
- How High Net Worth donors prefer to give and who are the decision makers among High Net Worth households
- How women view and practice philanthropy as distinct from their male counterparts
- The "volunteer effect" with High Net Worth donors
- The emerging impact of Family Philanthropy and multi-generational involvement
A must-attend for nonprofit fundraising staff, CEOs and key volunteers. Admission is complimentary. Pre-registration is required. Click
