Rita Galowich, President

Founder and President of Fund Inc®, Rita has devoted her career to working with not-for-profit organizations. Her experience as a staff member and consultant with education, social service, culture and health care organizations has given her a wealth of knowledge to enhance her clients’ development efforts. She has successfully facilitated a wide range of projects from start-up development programs to multi-million dollar capital campaigns. A leader, educator, speaker and facilitator, Rita has the ability to see the long-term picture while implementing short-term goals. Throughout her career, Rita has empowered organizations by helping them identify new corporate and foundation funding, implementing donor acquisition programs, increasing individual giving levels, developing plans to move organizations from feasibility study to capital campaign to endowment, developing strategies to solicit major gifts, and educating boards of directors to increase their understanding of roles and responsibilities. In addition, she has helped her clients enhance organizational development by strengthening volunteer leadership and increasing community awareness.

Rita holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (Administration) and Master of Education degree from National-Louis University. She is a member of the Giving Institute, Leading Consultants to Non-profits; the Association of Fundraising Professionals; and Women in Development.
