Position
Title: Campaign Consultant
Jeffrey Byrne & Associates, Inc., a
national fundraising consulting firm with
offices in Kansas City and around the nation, is expanding into
new markets and seeking an experienced fundraiser
to join the firm as a Campaign Consultant.

Campaign Consultants are self-starters
able to manage multiple projects at the
same time.
Their critical role is to research and
generate opportunities with non-profit clients
that are ready to plan and implement a capital
or major gifts campaign. Campaign Consultants
provide the expertise and guidance to all
aspects of the capital campaign and bring
the capital campaign to a successful completion.
Criteria:
- Must have at least fifteen years of
experience in a not-for-profit at the
Executive Director or Director of Development
level.
- Must have completed at least three capital
campaign efforts and have been responsible
for the day-to-day implementation or the
supervision of the capital campaign.
- Must have the ability and personality
to manage your own financial affairs.
- Must have connections in a community
to generate leads and have potential contacts
to bring forward.
- Must have the ability to have flexible
travel schedule.
- Must be self-motivated and work independently.
- Must have a sold relationship with key
decision-makers in your community’s
philanthropic, business and civic community.
Accountabilities:
- Research and follow-up and establish
relationships with key decision makers
in your community’s philanthropic,
business and civic community to generate
capital campaign leads.
- In conjunction with the corporate office,
manage marketing activities such as generating
and following up on leads; planning and
conducting capital campaign workshops;
and generating speaking engagements.
- Provide expertise, guidance and structure
for capital campaign project management,
including:
- Conduct the Community Readiness
Assessment SM (commonly known as the
feasibility study);
- Organize, plan and implement a capital
campaign; and
- Establish detailed stewardship and
donor relationship programs which
encourages increased opportunities
for participation and contributions.
- Provide monthly reports on a timely
basis to the corporate office.
